Hello Friends and Valued Customers,
Well… 2025 sure kept us on our toes. Some goals we hit, some we almost hit, and a few we looked at and said, “Yeah… maybe next year.” We could blame the economy—and let’s be honest, it’s tempting—but the truth is, the opportunities were there. We just needed to grab them, and sometimes we fumbled. That’s business—and life. We’re human, we try things, sometimes they work beautifully, and sometimes they remind us why coffee and cold beer exists.
Last year we added a whole new location in Gaylord, picked up new property in Traverse City (because apparently I like paperwork), and Tara and I dove into more training and development ourselves. The goal is to bring those lessons to the team down the road, so we can all grow together. We also made a few changes that didn’t quite fit our business model. But hey—if you’re not trying, learning, and occasionally doing a U-turn, are you even growing?
Right now is the perfect time of year for us to step back, take a breath, and focus on sharpening our direction. We’re investing in ourselves and our processes so we can continue improving—not just for our customers, but for our whole team.
We’re also implementing new software that we’re convinced will save time, reduce headaches, and finally get us all doing things the same way. (A guy can dream, right?) But truly, I’m excited—and I don’t say that lightly. This is the kind of upgrade that makes a real difference.
Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for 2026 with a clear focus, a tightened plan, and a renewed commitment to excellence—plus a little more humor to get us through the wild days.
