Hello Friends and Valued Customers,

Rolling into the second quarter, there are a few key things to mention from last quarter—besides the fact that I’m still trying to figure out how it flew by so fast. First, we made a big move by acquiring New Century Signs (NCS) of Gaylord, located at 1156 Elkview Drive. NCS has been a trusted name in the sign industry for 40 years, specializing in vinyl decals for boats, storefront windows, post and panel signs, and emergency vehicle graphics. If it has a surface, they’ve probably lettered it! This expansion strengthens Pro Image Design’s ability to serve the Gaylord area, and we’re thrilled that Kerri, one of the previous owners, has agreed to stay on, bringing her expertise in vinyl design and installation.

From a business perspective, this was a no-brainer. We’ve already been traveling to Gaylord weekly for jobs—so instead of pretending we don’t basically live there, we made it official with a permanent shop. Now, when we say “We’re local!” we actually mean it.

Spring is also the season of fresh starts. It’s time to shake off the winter cobwebs, literally and figuratively. If your signage looks like it has survived one too many snowstorms (because it probably has), now’s the time to freshen up your business facade. Your sign is more than just a piece of branding—it’s the welcoming hand that invites customers into your business, setting the tone before they even step inside. And we’re here to make sure it leaves the right impression.

With that, we’re adding to our staff to better serve our customers. Pro Image Design continues to grow as the best place to work—bridging design, engineering, and skilled trades all under one roof. It’s a rare mix, but we thrive on bringing these elements together to create incredible signage and branding solutions for businesses like yours.

Finally, after a much-needed spring break vacation with Tara and our daughter Ezra, I’m back, recharged, and ready to tackle the season ahead. Brynn had to stay back for school (being responsible and all), and we definitely missed her. Nothing like a little sun (and probably too much food) to get some fresh perspective before diving into another busy season.

Here’s to a strong second quarter—let’s make it a great one!

Cheers,
Alan
