This quarter, we’re excited to spotlight Gretchen, our Vinyl Tech Apprentice, who has been with Pro Image Design for a year and a half.
Gretchen enjoys working in production and helping get jobs ready for installation. One of her favorite things to work on is lettering tow trucks, which is fitting since she loves diesel trucks and even has one of her own.
One accomplishment she is especially proud of was laying out and applying graphics for several tow trucks on her own. That project gave her the chance to put her training into action and take ownership of the work from start to finish.
Gretchen’s favorite PID Core Value is Core Value #3: Growth, which she was recognized for in February. It’s easy to see why this value resonates with her, as her apprenticeship has been all about learning, training, and continuing to build her skills in the sign industry.
Outside of work, Gretchen enjoys going to truck shows and spending time around the diesel truck community. Something many people may not know is that she went to school for welding after high school. If she could swap jobs with anyone at PID for a day, she would choose one of the fabrication team members so she could learn more about what goes into building signs.
Gretchen says her personal mantra is, “Everything happens for a reason,” a reminder that helps her stay positive and motivated. At work, the thing that always makes her smile is when the team jokes around and shares a laugh.
We’re proud to have Gretchen on the Pro Image Design team and look forward to watching her continue to grow.
