Celebrating the People Who Live Our Core Values
At Pro Image Design, our monthly Kick-Ass Award is one of our favorite ways to recognize teammates who are living out our Core Values in real, meaningful ways. Each month, team members nominate and vote for someone who has gone above and beyond, shown strong character, and made a positive impact on the people around them.
Over the past three months, we have had the privilege of recognizing some great examples of what our Core Values look like in action.
In March, Todd was recognized for displaying Core Value #7: Quality Workmanship — The Difference Between Good and Great Lives in the Details. Todd’s recognition is a reminder that the little things matter. Whether it is the finishing touches, the careful planning, or the extra attention given to a project, quality workmanship shows up in the details that make our work stand out.
In April, Teal was recognized for displaying Core Value #6: Communication — Open, Honest, and Respectful Communication with Customers and Teammates. Strong communication helps keep our projects moving, our customers informed, and our teammates connected. Teal’s recognition highlights the importance of speaking clearly, listening well, and treating others with respect throughout the process.
In May, we had a tie between OB and Chad, who were both recognized for displaying Core Value #4: Exceeding Expectations — Reach Beyond Assumptions and Make Every Experience Memorable. This Core Value is all about going the extra step, seeing opportunities to make a difference, and creating an experience that people remember. OB and Chad both showed what it means to go beyond what is expected and bring something extra to their work and their teammates.
Each month, we have a lot of fun presenting the winner with a customized trophy and $100 cash for dinner out on us. But beyond the prize, this award has become something even more meaningful. It gives our team a chance to pause and notice the good things happening around us every day. Sometimes it shines a light on qualities, efforts, and moments that may not otherwise be seen.
