We’re Raising the Bar… and the Signs!
I’m excited to announce that Pro Image Design has officially launched our Sign Erector Apprenticeship Program in partnership with Northwest Michigan Works! and the Department of Labor. We’re on a mission to train the next generation of sign-raising pros (think superheroes, but with hard hats and levelers).
We recently attended the 2024 Michigan Works! Annual Conference at the Grand Traverse Resort, with other local businesses and real-life success stories. We met apprentices from other programs who have turned their hands-on training into full-fledged careers—from manufacturing to building and beyond. Seeing their journeys (and hearing some cool stories) reinforced just how impactful apprenticeship programs can be in building skilled teams.
As we prepare to welcome our first apprentice, we’re thankful for the smooth guidance from Northwest Michigan Works, who made the process as simple as a well-placed adhesive vinyl wrap. We’re confident this program will create a talented pipeline of sign erectors ready to hoist, hang, and perfect your projects—because getting your sign exactly level is an art form!
This is just the beginning. We have two more apprenticeship programs in the works, rolling out over the next year, to make sure our team continues to grow and deliver the exceptional service you’ve come to expect. Who knew professional development could be this fun?
