We’re excited to finally reveal Part 2 of our sign series for Countryside Transportation Service in Sebewaing.

This sign showpiece stands out at 8’ tall and stretches 14’ across. It also has a story to back it.

The owner of Countryside, Joel Fiebig, has had a sign in mind for several years, but didn’t want to rush the project as he was unsure of what exactly it should entail. The only requirement was that the sign for a trucking company should be cool and make a statement. Different concepts came and went. Then when our lead designer incorporated characteristics of heavy bridge construction merged with the Countryside brand, a clear winner stood out.

Our sign engineers and production team took on the challenge of making the concept a reality. We fabricated the I-beam structure from aluminum flat bar. Substantial substructure was required to support the outer panels due to the sign’s bulkiness. We used a combination of ACM and aluminum, then created our own channel letters and rivets. A notable amount of custom work was involved to achieve the desired appearance. Halo and face lighting were added to create remarkable nighttime effects.

The most challenging aspect of the build was constructing all the parts to fit together, considering the multiple angles the sign comprises. Then routing wire through the substructure had its own complexities. On the visual side, we had to be careful to add just the right amount of accent lighting without making it garish. We couldn’t be more excited about the finished result.

Pro Image Design is honored to be the sign company to partner with Countryside. For nearly 10 years, Joel has time and again allowed us opportunities to push the envelope with creativity. Not only do we get to make cool signs, they’re the type that have the potential for industry recognition.
